AI platforms

In this paper we want to share with you our impressions using a few AI platforms for image and video generation.

The opinions expressed here are based on our experience and research. We may be wrong, and we certainly haven't covered everything. If you have any comments, please write to us at: info@neurona.top

Stable Diffusion

Image and video generation

Free, open source, endless possibilities. No paywalls, no gatekeepers. A vibrant community drives constant upgrades—most subscription tools mirror its advances.

The upside: ethical creators face no limits. Master its basics and craft work that stands apart. Switch between streamlined or power-user views to match your workflow.

The catch: technical grit required. A vast ecosystem of modules and settings tests your resolve.

At Neurona, we live in Stable Diffusion every day. It won’t handhold you, but once you clear that barrier, your creative reach expands further than you imagined.

Freepik

Image and video generation

It’s a paid app—yet surprisingly affordable—and built around you. The online interface is clean, intuitive, ready for real work.

The upside: they’re relentlessly innovative, with a vast library of online resources, nonstop feature drops, and direct partnerships with the world’s leading model providers.

The catch: the site can lag, and outputs still “smell like AI.” They chase a crowd-pleasing final result, ironing out the quirks that give work its spark.

Freepik excels when you need quick, mid-stage visuals—but it’s no all-in-one for professional designers or artists. Think of it as a fast lane to raw materials, not your final canvas.

"Don’t lock into a single tool—yet resist the urge to chase every shiny new app. Above all, know your goal before you hit the power button.

Imagine.art

Another payment tool, very simple. It allows you to upload a reference image, but what it does is extract as complete a prompt as possible, which is then applied to the model.

The upside: it allows you to choose models from the community, in addition to those licensed by the tool.

The catch: it does not offer much creative freedom

Honestly, we didn't even pay for a subscription to do the analysis. It's just like so many others, we seriously doubt that even 90% of them will survive, and this one seems to be among that critical percentage.
